Headshots in Palm Springs. A whole team in 1 afternoon, retouched fast.
Palm Springs is full of people whose face is the business: real estate agents, hospitality managers, gallery owners, independent professionals. For them a headshot is not an HR requirement, it is the first impression a client gets before meeting anybody.
I come to your office or a location we agree on, bring the lighting, and coach expression as we go, so people who are certain they photograph badly still walk out with something they will actually use.

The Palm Springs problem: everybody wants to shoot outside
Outdoor headshots here mean squinting and hard shadows for most of the day. I either shoot early, find open shade, or bring lighting to balance the sun, rather than promising a look the middle of a desert afternoon cannot deliver.

Questions
Headshot photography in Palm Springs: common questions
How much do headshots cost in Palm Springs?
Pricing depends on headcount and location, so tell me how many people and where for a quote. Extra retouched selects are $65 each.
Do you come to our Palm Springs office?
Yes. Sessions are on-location wherever works for you, with portable studio lighting included, so nobody has to travel across the valley on a work day.
How many people can you photograph in one session?
A full team in an afternoon is normal. Sessions are kept short per person so the day does not eat everybody's schedule.
Can we shoot outdoors in Palm Springs?
Yes, with planning. Early morning or open shade works; the middle of a bright afternoon does not, and I would rather say so than hand back photos of people squinting.
Do you charge travel to Palm Springs?
No. There is no travel fee anywhere from Desert Hot Springs to Indio, and Palm Springs is inside that. You pay the same rate as anyone else in the valley.
How far ahead should I book a Palm Springs shoot?
A week is comfortable, and I can often do sooner. Listings on a deadline and next-day turnarounds are worth calling about rather than emailing, because I can tell you straight away whether the date works.
Who owns the photos once they are delivered?
I own the copyright, which is standard in photography. You get full rights to use the images for what they were shot for, for as long as you need. The one thing the license does not cover is passing the files to another business to use as their own.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Almost everything I shoot indoors is unaffected. For outdoor coverage we talk through a backup plan when we plan the day, and in the valley that is rarely needed.
