Real estate photography in Rancho Mirage. Fast MLS-ready files in 48 hours.
Rancho Mirage skews to larger lots, mature landscaping and long single-storey elevations that do not fit in one frame from the driveway. It is a market where the grounds are frequently as much of the sale as the house.
I shoot the approach and the outdoor living properly rather than treating them as filler after the interiors, because on these properties the space between the buildings is a large part of what the price reflects.

The Rancho Mirage problem: elevations that do not fit the frame
A long, low, wide house shot from the ground either loses the ends or bends the roofline. Drone at $200 solves it cleanly, which is why I recommend it more often here than anywhere else in the valley.

Questions
Real estate photography in Rancho Mirage: common questions
How much does real estate photography cost in Rancho Mirage?
By square footage: $275 up to 2,000 sq ft, $350 for 2,001 to 3,000, $450 for 3,001 to 4,000 and $550 for 4,001 to 5,000. Larger estates are quoted individually.
Do you use drone for Rancho Mirage estates?
Frequently. At $200 it is the most useful add-on here, because the lot size and the low wide elevations are difficult to convey from ground level.
Can you photograph a home over 5,000 square feet?
Yes. Above 5,000 sq ft I quote individually rather than forcing it into a tier, because the image count and the time on site both scale with the property.
Do you cover country club properties?
Yes, including the shared amenities. Where access needs arranging in advance, let me know when booking and I will coordinate it around the shoot.
Do you charge travel to Rancho Mirage?
No. There is no travel fee anywhere from Desert Hot Springs to Indio, and Rancho Mirage is inside that. You pay the same rate as anyone else in the valley.
How far ahead should I book a Rancho Mirage shoot?
A week is comfortable, and I can often do sooner. Listings on a deadline and next-day turnarounds are worth calling about rather than emailing, because I can tell you straight away whether the date works.
Who owns the photos once they are delivered?
I own the copyright, which is standard in photography. You get full rights to use the images for what they were shot for, for as long as you need. The one thing the license does not cover is passing the files to another business to use as their own.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Overcast is often easier than full sun here, and sky replacement is included, so a flat white sky is not a reason to move a shoot. Genuine rain or high wind, which mostly affects drone work, we reschedule.
